"It's Alive, It's Alive!!!"... Frankenstein, the movie (1931)

... no it's NOT... I mean the 'H1N1 flu shot' does not contain a live virus!  The nasal spray form of the vaccine which is recommended for children ages 6 to 24, however does contain a weakened live virus , but so does the regular 'flu nasal spray', which has been around for a while now.  If you still have concerns and want to be informed then read a good article in todays New York Times, titled "America Takes On Swine Flu".   They asked doctors and public health experts questions regarding the publics' concerns,  roomfordebate.blogs.nytimes.com.
Speaking of swine, it's making me hungry... this weekend is the second annual New York City Wine & Food Festival, "which begins with a bacon tasting on Thursday and ends with a meatball orgy on Sunday" (and burger bash in between),  said New York Magazine.  Sommeliers (wine experts), will pair wines with live guest vocalists, how esoteric is that!

If you just want to take the family out for a great burger in NYC then check out "The Burger Register: New York's 82 Most Notable Burgers",  and the slide show is fun to watch, newyork.grubstreet.com.
