Falling For Sedona

My other son... fooled ya... 

Sooooo WHAt there's no ocean there... and it's probably a good thing there's not much in the way of commerce, except tourism of course...  otherwise too many people there would destroy Sedona... a place like no other and as close to Utopia as you can get on planet earth... unless of course you're a city person... my dilemma... I love both!  It's early spring, so no flowers yet, but perfect daytime temperature for hiking, 65 to 70 degrees, and still very cool at night.

This was a family trip, a trip we took with another family, so we rented a van for the week...

Nobody told me why Pink Jeep Tours is the best, I thought it was just because they were a large company... until our guide and driver Eric told us that they have an exclusive license to go on Broken Arrow, which if you're only doing one tour is the one to do... we did the combo 'Scenic Rim/Broken Arrow'.

We bought a new camera for the trip, something I'd been wanting for a while... a digital SLR, the Canon T2i... it was amazing (with 18 megapixels)! Still learning it...
